Music therapy is an evidence-based allied health progression that can support people across the lifespan, from newborns to the elderly. Registered Music Therapists support individuals to achieve their own personalised outcomes through a tailored therapeutic plan. Music therapy addresses physical, emotional and mental health as well as communication, memory, cognition, sleep and pain management.

 

RMTs are experienced musicians with specialist training in the targeted use of music to drive changes in the brain, mind and body.
 
People of all circumstances and abilities can access music therapy. No prior musical training is required.
